DubShot and RHH ink a deal...

New York, NY (July 25, 2009): On FridayJuly 17, 2009 RHH Music Corp. signed a distribution deal with DubShot Records. RHH CEO and Artist Manager Rodney Hill, has geared this collaboration specifically for the circulation of single releases for the artists currently managed by RHH.

DubShot Records, a New York based hybrid label that showcases an evolution in musical styles, features prominent artists inspired by (or derived from) Caribbean sounds. The label has solidified an international movement that has been in existence for decades, yet remains under the radar. Focusing on the future of the music business, DubShot Records bypasses traditional models and focuses primarily on digital distribution, event based marketing, and brand partnerships. Founders Mannix and Jesse K have recently incorporated a music industry forum called Sound Ctrl, which focuses on the convergence of the music and tech communities, and aims to inspire innovation across the two industries. Recent releases include the "Future Sound of Reggae, Vol. 1" the first in a series, and a partnership with actress Mena Suvari that features a diverse selection of songs from recent chart toppers in alternative reggae.

When asked about working along side RHH, Mannix responded "Rodney Hill and his artists represent a well organized and talented team on the verge of really big things. We are honored to be working with them and partnering in their success. Artists like Cezar, Andrew Mac, Keishera, Elly Ess and Supah Shane are the future of reggae, dancehall, soul, and hip hop, and are well on their way. With this partnership we are looking forward to bringing these and other artists in the camp to the next level!"

Both companies feel that their collaboration will be beneficial to each other and look forward to creating and distributing hit records.
