Elly Ess and Supah Shane "Jamaican in New York"

December 16, 2009 - Rock Star Entertainment and Music presents the official anthem for every Jamaican that lives in, visits, or passes through New York. The buzz has already been building around the tri-state for EllyEss and SupahShane’s song “Jamaican in New York” a twist on the 1993 hit by Shinehead. They have already started shooting the video for this song and it should be released early next year.

Produced by Supah Shane and featuring both EllyEss & Supah Shane, the unquestionable talents have solidified their staying power with their summer 2009 release of the single “More Money” available for purchase on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Zune, and the ringtone can be purchased through all major cell phone carriers. In addition, the “More Money” video is in heavy rotation on RETV and HYPE TV in Jamaica.


The brothers, who are no strangers to the music industry, have worked with an

impressive line-up of artists which includes hip hop superstar Jim Jones, dancehall aficionados VybzKartel, Mavado, Capleton, Richie Spice, Aidonia, Elephant Man, among others. They have also produced chart-topping Riddims such as the "Onward Riddim" and the "GangstaGangstaRiddim."
